Wriddhiman Saha has opened up about the breaches in the bio-bubble in the IPL tournament 2021. He was also one of the players to catch the virus before the suspension of the tournament.
During an interview, Saha opened up that UAE was a much better place to conduct the tournament. He also said that during the training session in UAE, nobody was allowed to come except for the players. However, in India kids could be seen peeping in the walls, people were allowed everywhere, etc.
He further said that IPL in UAE was carried on smoothly. Saha reached Kolkata after completing his quarantine in a hotel in Delhi.

Saha said that his energy levels are fine now and he is not facing any problem doing day-to-day activities. However, he can be sure about it once he starts practicing.
He said that during his ailment he suffered from fever for the first few days. After that he lost his smell and that returned after 4 days.
Saha said that he spent his time connecting with his friends and family through video calls, watching nice movies, etc. He made sure that he was in a good mental space.
As of now he is following a light fitness regime at home and will return to the final practice once he joins the Mumbai team.
The IPL 2021 is said to resume from September. BCCI has requested ECB to curtail some of their test matches. This will allow the England players to participate in the tournament. According to an insider they are planning to request few other countries to forfeit some of their matches.
