Virendra Sehwag trolls the previous franchise owners of Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell has completely changed his form this year while representing the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He scored a total of 78 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders. He also hit 9 fours and 3 sixes. Virendra Sehwag was impressed by his performance and was seen praising him on social media. He also made fun of the previous owners of Maxwell through a funny GIF.

Maxwell has never been able to give consistent performances for the other franchises. Due to this, he was released by most of the teams.

He ws released by the Punjab Kings franchise as he failed to perform well in the IPL 2020 for the team. Despite performing badly in the previous IPL matches, there was a bid war for him. Royal Challengers Bangalore purchased him for a whopping price in the IPL 2021 auction.

However, he has surpassed expectations in the IPL 2021 for the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise.

Glenn Maxwell helped RCB get back on track in the match against KKR

In the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, when Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar got out, it was Maxwell who set the track right for the Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise. Maxwell went ahead and slammed 78. He also set the right track for Ab de Villiers.

Royal Challengers Bangalore won by a margin of 38 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders and hence moved up the points table. They have played 3 matches and won in all three of them. RCB as of now has 6 points.
