Ever since his debut, Quinton De Kock has been a vital asset for South Africa at the top order. He affected 36 dismissals, which include 28 catches and eight stumpings. He has the fastest wicketkeeper record in terms of matches (35) to take 150 test dismissals and the fastest wicketkeeper, in terms of matches, to complete 200 dismissals in Tests (47), beating the previous record made by Adam Gilchrist.

2. Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka)

Given his record, Kumar Sangakkara will always go down as one of the finest ever keepers to play the game. Not only did he lead his side with dignity, but he also fulfilled all the responsibilities superbly that were asked of him. When it comes to his work behind the stumps, Sangakkara has over 500 ODI dismissals in his kitty and holds the record for the most number of dismissals in World Cups at 54.

We probably would run out of words to describe the former Indian Captain and wicket-keeper. Hailing from Ranchi, MS Dhoni has been one of India’s most precious gift to world cricket. The former Indian captain has represented India in four consecutive world cups. It was under his captaincy that India won the ICC World Cup 2011 after 28 years. At an international level, Dhoni is ranked fifth, fourth and first for the highest amount of dismissals as a wicketkeeper at Test and ODI level, respectively. In Tests, he has 294 dismissals to his name and 398 in ODI matches. It is his sublime record that puts him at No 1 in the list of the top 5 wicket-keeper batsmen of the last decade
