One worst enemy of each team in IPL


IPL is one of the most-watched cricket tournaments in the world. Winning and losing come as a part of it. Every team has gone through its own sets of highs and lows. Let us take a look at the worst enemy of each team so far.

(1)Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals faced the worst moment against Mumbai Indians. In the match against Mumbai Indians, in 2014 Rajasthan Royals scored 189 runs in the first innings. At the end of the 14th over, MI needed only 9 runs to win the match. The turning point of the match came when Aditya Tare hit the ball for a six.

(2)Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals faced their worst moment in the year 2013. They lost six games straight in the tournament. Everyone criticized the team for their poor management.

(3)Sunrisers Hyderabad

The match was against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 135. After this the ran started pouring heavily. However, AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli defeated the Orange team. Kohli batted exceptionally well. He took the chase to 13 needed off six. The best moment of the match was when Kohli mistimed the ball towards long off and Warner caught it. However, he actually hit the rope and that made a six.

(4)Kings XI Punjab

Kings XI Punjab faced the worst moment in their cricket journey in the year 2014. The match was against KKR. Punjab performed well in the first half of the match and scored 199. However, the end of the game changed everything. The first ball resulted in a dot by Narine. The second ball resulted in a single. The third bowl was sliced to the point for a four.


This was in the year 2019 against their biggest rivals Mumbai Indians. Watson was injured and he still played like a  one-man army. Chennai needed just two to win from the last ball. Malinga bowled a Yorker and it resulted in LBW from Thakur’s side. This was a very heartbreaking defeat.

(6)Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians also faced a massive defeat against Chennai Super Kings. It was in the year 2018. MI batted first and scored 165. However, Dwayne Bravo changed the entire course of the match. He displayed his hard-hitting skills in the match and hit Bumrah for huge sixes. The match finished with Jadhav hitting the ball for a four to win the match.


RCB faced its worst fate in the year 2017. It was during a match against KKR. RCB started the match well and bowled KKR out for a score of 131. However, RCB had a fall of wickets for 49. IT was very disappointing for the Bangalore-based team.

(8)Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR faced its nightmare in the year 2021. The match was against Mumbai Indians. It started off well with the partnership between Shubham Gill and Nitish Rana.  However later their batsmen lost their temperament. Eoin Morgan and Shakib Al Hasan played needless shots in the match.

In addition to this Dinesh Karthik and Russell played a series of dot balls. They were able to score just 1 run in the 16th over of Krunal Pandya. Finally, KKR lost the match and it was very disappointing for the KKR fans.
