Irfan Pathan is all set to play in Lanka Premier League. In a recent Twitter post, Irfan confirmed that he is going to play for Kandy Tuskers.
He also tweeted that he is looking forward to having some fun in the tournament. Irfan has retired from T20. However, he still plays all around the world.
The Kandy team also has Chriss Gayle, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera, Liam Plunkett and, Nuwan Pradeep.
He has not played for two years and now is looking forward to playing in the league.
It will be interesting to see the international players competing against each other in the tournament. He last played in February 2019.
He represented Jammu and Kashmir in the match while competing against Kerela.

Irfaan is as of now a member of the Star Sports Hindi commentary at UAE. In March he had played for the Idia Legends team.
He is perhaps also interested to be a part of the Ranji Trophy. He wants some clarity before he can be a part of the domestic team.
Pathan retired from T20 after playing a total of 29 Test matches, 24 T20 matches, and 120 ODI matches. The owner of the Kandy franchise further saif that the presence of Pathan will add to the power of the team.
Also, his experience will help the team to perform better in the match.
The LPL match is set to start on the 21st of November. It will continue till the 13th of December. The matches will take place at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium which is situated in Kandy.
The other venue of the match will be Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium which is situated in Hambantota.
