IPL Ticket Price

IPL Ticket Price: The IPL is here and we can’t keep cool about it. Despite battling numerous hardships for almost a year, the Indian Premier League (IPL) is back in India and all set to begin from Friday, April 9th, 2021. The Mumbai Indians MI) and the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have arrived in Chennai where they take on each other in the IPL 2021 season opener.

Are you waiting for IPL 2021 tickets and want to book online? If that’s the case you’re in the right place. We will talk about the ticket price list, online buying guide, not from India only but also for other countries. In this article, we will cover the process of buying IPL tickets for all venues as well as the official ticket sale date.

Therefore, let’s dig into the IPL ticket price. While we are it, you may wish to check out the Schedule for IPL to book tickets early.

IPL Ticket Price

Tickets normally start from ₹400, and the price can vary according to stands and facilities. Normally cheaper tickets are not available online, and the same needs to be purchased from the stadium. IPL Ticket Prices are decided based on seats and stadium in which the match will be played. IPL ticket prices tend to vary as per the stadium capacity and location of the stadiums. During IPL 2019, ticket prices for KKR home games started from Rs. 400 onwards. But the prices for Hyderabad were priced from Rs. 500 onwards.

Tickets between the range of 400-1000 won’t get you the best of seats, and you’ll end up watching the match from way behind in the crowd, wherein the visibility will be less. Similarly, as we go above Rs.1000/-, you are likely to get better quality seats with a great view of the game. Tickets between the range of 3,000-10,000 will probably have you seated adjacent to celebrities with better access to all the stadium’s facilities.

Here is a rough estimate as to how the tickets will be priced based on the side/stands

NOTE: In the wake of the chaos caused by the pandemic, the BCCI has opted against allowing fans inside the stadium for the IPL 2021 edition.  Hence, the IPL Tickets booking has not started yet. The board will decide on opening the venues for the fans in the second half of the season. So, the cricket fans will have to wait a bit before buying their IPL 2021 Tickets.

Are Virtual Tickets Available?

There is no official update on if there are IPL Tickets for attending the matches virtually. Disney+ Hotstar had rolled out the feature of a virtual fan community last year. Besides, there were four large fan walls, where a chosen group of fans would appear virtually to cheer for their favorite teams.

Since the possibility of having live fans in attendance is relatively low for the upcoming IPL season, there is a chance that the BCCI might sell IPL 2021 Tickets virtually and allow the fans to have an in-stadia experience from their homes. The BCCI will disclose the IPL Ticket price for virtual experiences during the second half of the season.
