He influenced David Warner to not go to the Decision Review System.

The controversy arose in the 17th over of the match. Ravi Ashwin smashed the ball thrown by Sandeep Sharma.
All the players of Sunrisers Hyderabad appealed to Chaudhary. However, Chaudhary turned down the appeal. After this, he touched his knuckles as a signal that Ashwin had an inside-edge.
People criticized Anil Chaudhary
Scott Styris, Brett Lee, and Sanjay Bangar criticized Chaudhary for making an error in his judgment.
They said that it was not correct for him to stand there and give a batting signal. According to the rules of Cricket, cricketers should not consult the umpire to take a DRS review.
No player is allowed to take suggestions from an umpire about the Player Review. However, the on-field umpire may turn down the request for a Player Review.
