PSL is all set to start its second leg from June. Abu Dhabi will host the tournament. The Pakistan Cricket Board has fortunately got the necessary permissions to host the tournament.
As of now, IPL 2021 has been postponed due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the bio-bubble. However, certain players who toom part in IPL will represent themselves in PSL as well.
Let us take a look at the IPL players who will participate in the Pakistan Super League 2021:
(1)Faf du Plessis
Faf du Plessis is a top performer of Chennai Super Kings. He scored the highest number of runs for the franchise before the tournament was suspended. He scored a total of 320 runs from around seven matches. Plessis also hit four half-centuries in the tournament. Quetta Gladiators might select him for the tournament.
(2)Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan represented the Lahore Qalandars in the first leg of the PSL tournament. He performed quite well and had an economic rate of 5.50. He scored 27 off 15 balls in the match. In the IPL 2021, he gave his best performance. He picked up 10 wickets in seven matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
(3)Chriss Lynn
Chriss Lynn was selected in the PSL after his amazing performance in the BBL tournament. He scored 32 runs off 14 balls in the match against Karachi Kings.
In IPL 2021 in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, he scored 49 runs at a striking rate of 140.
(4)Imran Tahir
In the 2021 PSL tournament, Imran picked up the wickets of both Usman Khan and Saim Ayub. In the IPL 2021, against RCB, he picked up two wickets and made over 16 runs from four overs. After that Ravindra Jadeja played as the main spinner. It will be interesting to watch if he gets a chance to play in the PSL.
(5)Mohammad Nabi
Mohammad Nabi scored 67 off 35 against Zalmi. He had an economy rate of 7.63.
In the IPL 2021 tournament, he scored 31 runs with a top score of 17. The Kings might pick him in the second leg of PSL.
